Despite our concern over the growing population, the number of infertile patients is on the rise globally and the demand for practitioners in this
area is also on the rise. Unlike most other fields of clinical medicine, clinical embryology is distinctive because majority of the work is laboratory
driven. Unfortunately the number of universities offering a structured training program in such a dynamic field is negligible. Chettinad Health
City has an active Assisted Reproductive Technology programme running successfully. On completing the course students will be able to find
suitable opportunities in ART clinics, research laboratories, teaching institutions and pharmaceutical industries. The syllabus formulated for the
course by the university is in accordance with the European and American societies of reproductive medicine.
