Pharmaceutical Chemistry is a scientific discipline at the intersection of Chemistry and Pharmacy involved with designing, synthesizing and developing Pharmaceutical drugs. It is a highly interdisciplinary
science combining Organic Chemistry with Biochemistry,
Computational Chemistry, Pharmacology, Bioinformatics, Molecular Biology, Statistics and Physical Chemistry. The interdisciplinary
subject aims to meet the market potential and global development of
the skilled man power in Pharmaceutical Industries and Institutes. The objective of this Course is to provide students with a detailed knowledge of Pharmaceutical Chemistry and their application in the medical field in an ethical and safe manner. The syllabus is designed to meet the challenges and opportunities that this field can offer to the society and this course will be of great use for students intending to
pursue higher studies. The programme is intended to prepare students
to enter their profession with a perspective and breadth of knowledge
related to the principal divisions of the respective fields of
specialization through Courses, research experience and thesis work
in order to be an individual entrepreneur.
Eligibility: B.Sc. Chemistry / Pharmacy / Pharmaceutical Chemistry /
Biochemistry / Microbiology / Genetics / Industrial Microbiology /
Botany / Zoology / Biotechnology with Chemistry as ancillary subject
are eligible to apply.

The form can be obtained in person/through post/may be downloaded from the University website. If the form is downloaded, the completed form must be accompanied by a D.D. as per the above instruction.
